Vendors at Christmas Village in Philadelphia
Fifty booths and a big vendor tent form a little medieval Village which offers its visitors a wide and attractive range of seasonal goods which cannot be found anywhere else besides this market.
Besides local vendors and artists there are German vendors selling Christmas decoration from genuine Erzgebirge, candles, nativty sets, glass ornaments in all shapes and sizes, toys, ceramic light houses, woolens, christmas trees, lace, spices, jewelry and a lot more. The booths' assortment have a relation to the winter season and the upcoming holidays.
Several outdoor booths selling food specialties attract visitors with the delicious smells of classic German products like bratwursts with sauerkraut, soups, pretzels, crepes and of course Gluhwine (a spiced mulled wine)! A wide assortment of traditional sweet Christmas-food items like lebkuchen (gingerbread cookies), famous stollen, spekulatius, chocolate covered fruits and frosted nuts make sure to leave all sweet toothed visitors satisfied.
